so i took a bit of a break from the usual new years resoluting for a week or so there...threw myself in at the deep end today...
i saw this on an old work colleagues blogspot the other day...and the image below seemed terribly apt indeed for my bad self...
sooo...on top of the blogspot revival here's a few more aims nay resolutions...
to take mc wife to graceland...
to visit a top notch dreamy hotel in london...
to meet someone who inspires me...
to run a half marathon with the thought of possibly attempting a marathon if the half marathon and i have a mutually agreeable and beneficial relationship...(note to self: been working in corporate america for a wee bit too long maybe)...
so anyway...i took myself out for a 3 mile jog earlier this evening...and about halfway into i was feeling so proud of myself for surprising myself and getting that far, didn't my shin split go and start to annoy me and there was me half crawling, half walking, half running back...anyway - nothing but a mere barrier to break through...30/40 mins in the gym tomorrow should help that...
i'm on a 14 week plan to be able to run a half-marathon...so please god i'll do it...
and with the half marathon plan comes a change in the diet...nothing drastic, just less crap, more salads, more water...etc etc...notably - less bread...
and then with that didn't i spot this earlier today on the cool hunter...
fecking bakery's...

ok...i has gots to go...drooling over the keyboard here and i can't afford to replace the one i have due to "soak" damage...
