what started as a bit of a rant has now become a personal passion…an ever-developing moodboard of sorts…the name custardbydesign has been sounding out to me from within since I graduated with an honours degree and a bachelor of design in interior architecture from napier university, edinburgh…since then my career has taken me from edinburgh, to antrim and to dublin where projects included bars, hotels and office fit-outs as well as sitting on the committee for ‘the interiors association’ and contributing to ‘inside’ magazine…now I find myself in the united states of america where I hope to find work and continue my career…
it draws me back again and again...and it's the image below that captures the comeback appeal...
a quirky, unforced mix of eclectic finds achieves a room that isn't too styled or streamlined, but still feels natural and inviting...from living etc...
i love that room too,it's so lived in but please forgive me richy i like it all EXCEPT for the hide, i don't get that wanting a dead animal skin underfoot thing.... don't do it .....don't do it interestingly the wv is nowar
oohh, Bellinteer House! Never been even though it's just down the road from where I grew up. Staying there for a weekend in August though for my boy's sister's wedding. I hear very nice things about the place!
That room looks amazing, but I second jaboopee regarding the hide. I'm loving everything else though, in particular that cream chair by the window with the amazing dark armrests!
had a gorgeous lunch there today,.I'll definetly make it a plan to stay there some time.... it's a little bit of heaven alright, i loved everything about it ( except the cow hide) ... ..on the way back we saw some real cows in a field and i thought they looked much better.... it'd be perfect for a summer wedding....just perfect
