no. 1 pery square...

overlooking the tree lined “People's park” in Limerick's historic Georgian quarter, No. 1 Pery square is an iconic luxury, intimate boutique townhouse Hotel & Spa...
No. 1 boasts 20 bedrooms, the Brasserie One restaurant situated on the first floor with great views of the Georgian streetscape...yet the holistic Irish organic spa in the vaulted basement is the real urban retreat...No. 1 Pery Square has been fully restored with all its original architectural features expertly reinstated in precise detail...the décor and furnishings are also of the Georgian era...

No. 1 Pery Square is one of a terrace of six Georgian houses built c. 1830 by the Pery Square Tontine Company...this terrace is widely regarded as being the best example of late Georgian Architecture in Limerick if not Ireland...

there are four period style rooms to choose from, each named after a previous resident of No. 1...naturally spacious, with great big sash windows offering views of the terrace/garden or the People's park, each room is furnished with a unique bed and equipped with fluffy bathrobes and L’Occitane bath products...Vanderkiste & Lord Barrington enjoy park views, roll top baths with dressing screens, while Lady Barrington & Pery enjoy terrace/garden views and hand crafted brass and gilt beds...

15 Club rooms offer a more classic modern feel but each one is different and in keeping with the heritage feel of the hotel, each named after an Irish Poet...
on the top floor of the hotel, the penthouse suite has sweeping views of the city and the mountains of Clare...The penthouse accommodation is generously spacious and includes its own bar and dining area, comfy sofas to relax on and a 42 inch flat screen on which to watch all the latest movies...

during renovations two caverns, which were formerly used for coal storage where discovered under the street - they are now exquisite treatment rooms in the urban retreat area of the building...
in the basement three safes used by Lord Barrington's family were discovered and are now the ideal wine cellar...
the original features of this elegant Georgian building have been preserved to add to the ambiance of No. 1 Pery Square which was recently awarded an accolade from Conde Naste...
