what started as a bit of a rant has now become a personal passion…an ever-developing moodboard of sorts…the name custardbydesign has been sounding out to me from within since I graduated with an honours degree and a bachelor of design in interior architecture from napier university, edinburgh…since then my career has taken me from edinburgh, to antrim and to dublin where projects included bars, hotels and office fit-outs as well as sitting on the committee for ‘the interiors association’ and contributing to ‘inside’ magazine…now I find myself in the united states of america where I hope to find work and continue my career…
lorna...you're very lucky i had you in mind on my interstate adventure...3 lovely blankets on the way to you...one for you, one for a lamb and one for that wee red heifer calf...
I feel the pain at having to drive so far to get to an Anthropologie...But you'll be glad to know to that last I heard, Little Rock is getting one this summer!!!(I think it deserves a few exclamation marks, don't you?) My friend sent me the job listing for their visual designer, but, alas, it is in Little Rock and I am in Russellville....

It's a really neat store just to visit, in case someone reading this has not been there before.
They have tons of cool gift items (and not just "girl clothes"), and the fixtures and furniture are so great. They're like shabby chic but better.
That mirror collage is stellar.
