well in my new role i'm often finding that is exactly true as i've both new to management and the retail environment...a few weeks ago, as i was merchandising some of our new ranges of spring / summer giftware i learnt of a new word from one of my fellow bloggers...
i had to ask what a vignette was...i guess its a term thats not really used here in ireland, although i quite like it...it has a certain classier status that 'display' or 'arrangement'...
so here are my summer giftware vignette's instore at meadows & byrne...and thanks to architect design for the translation...

those are beautiful 'vignettes'! Glad I was able to help even in such a small way :-)
much appreciated... if that word starts to become the buzz word on this side of the pond we will both know where it started...thanks again
Life is great in that it doesn't stop teaching us new things. No matter how old we are, we continue to learn. Imagine how boring it would be if you knew everything there is to know.
Love the lamps in the second photo, a lot.
I wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on the Marimekko post. I was out of commission for several weeks and never had the opportunity to visit til now. Love your blog! Looking to your posts.
The lanterns really get me in the mood for spring/summer! Nice work! :) These are kinda like the ones outside the Dylan Hotel right?
