stepping it up a gear...

i decided now that i have the 'employment authorisation card' in hand and i'm stepping it up a gear with regards to the job hunt and the networking - that a business card would help people remember who i am and what i do...

the accent does the trick in making me stand out from the crowd, but i felt i needed something to put in the hands of the people i meet...so i found a website to make business cards for free and i paid for shipping and i got them a week or so ago...

i decided the simpler the better...what do you think...???

very nice , KISS is always the best ( Keeping It Simple Stupid ) how can they make it for nothing one wonders?
i would question one thing and i hope you don't mind but giving blogger prominence over your actual profession ? although having said that , your blog does give a very good introduction into who you are and what your about ? and as a cv its probably much more interesting that a 2 page typed document ...oh just ignore me , i'm out of that loop now , i don't know whats what anymore ...

best of luck to you..i've me eyes crossed for ye

hiya jaboopee...

i deliberated about that one...and i wanted to keep it simple...if i put my coroflot site on there it has no links to my blogspot...but with the blogspot on there it has links to my portfolio, twitter, facebook and gmail...you name it...

and also for the most part, since october 2008 my blogspot has been my active career development of sorts...while i've been unable to practice as an interior architect i've been able to research and expand on product knowledge, peer designers and the likes through my blogspot...

but i do see your point and it;s valid...

another thought was that a blogspot can be used to a future employers advantage...posts about copmany work or new projects etc...while if i had put interior architect on that it may have appeared like i was competition to potential employers...

keep the eyes crossed for me...much appreciated...not while your driving though...!!!
